Quine and Karl Popper think about the supposed problem in several different ways. 2) What is Popper’s solution to the problem of induction? Quine wrestles with a harder version of the problem – and yet comes to quite a different conclusion. 3) Explain either the black ravens problem or the grue problem. 4) What is Quine’s answer to the problem you chose to explain? 5) Which understanding of science is more persuasive, Quine’s or Popper’s?
