Hugh Hunter is a writer and communicator
I have done a lot of writing for the federal government of Canada. My area of focus was procurement and security. I have produced official policies and guides, communiqués, blog posts, courses, online learning modules, posters, infographics, interviews, presentations and briefing notes for senior execs. I have some writing samples here.
I’ve worked as a part time professor, teaching and writing philosophy, public ethics and communications at schools across North America. There’s an academic CV here.
I write freelance for newspapers and magazines. You can find my work at the New Oxford Review, Crisis, Touchstone, Philosophy Now, and elsewhere.
I’ve ghostwritten content for NGOs in the Ottawa area, including B2B proposals. I have also ghostwritten campaign material for federal candidates in Ottawa, including interviews and articles, as well as preparing issue research and debate/speech prep materials.
I’m the author of a book for those who want to learn more about philosophy, called How to be a Philosopher. You can check out my current writing at my blog, The Manly Saints Project.
